I Like ABR’s Personalized Service & ‘Can Do’ Attitude

ABR regularly receives testimonials and letters of thanks from our clients. We recently received the following from  Patricia A. Thrune, Senior HR Generalist at Watlow:

My name is Pat Thrune and I work at Watlow. I am the Senior HR Generalist in the Human Resources department. One of my jobs is to fill temporary staff positions for our location.  This can be a daunting and time consuming task therefore, our company prefers we have two temporary agencies to work with.

We started working with ABR in October 2013. At the time, we were working with another vendor and were not getting the desired results from that company. I was a little leery of using another temporary agency but decided to give ABR a chance. After meeting with the ABR staff I was immediately impressed. ABR was very positive in their presentation and I liked the staff’s “can do” attitudes. We have a strong safety and ethical culture at our location, getting the right person is paramount to our workforce. They took the time to understand our goals from the beginning that we needed to be supplied with a quality, safety conscious work force.

I like having personalized customer service and was quickly able to build a good rapport with the ABR representative. He has excellent communication skills and a good sense of humor.  He toured our facility and has developed a working knowledge of the type of candidates that are best suited for my job requests. He is very helpful and prompt in getting me quality temporary workers. He has a definite knack for making great choices in the candidates that he sends to our facility. I am glad that I didn’t let a bad experience stop me from working with another staffing service. I look forward to a long business relationship with h ABR Employment Services and wanted to share my experience as one satisfied customer.

We tour all agency hires, 9 out of 10 we hire for temporary positions because candidates are top notch from ABR. We have hired four to fill full-time open positions. Our Production Team Leaders Amy Hymer, Nancy Drazkowski and Jody Harkey agree. We have not used our second source since October 2013.
