That’s a common question that trips a lot of us up. It seems weird to talk so openly about how great you are. In your head, you know you’re qualified for this position. But now you have to vocalize those reasons to your potential new employer – otherwise, they’ll never know! So what do you say when asked, “Why should we hire you?” Here are some strategies for constructing a well-thought-out response.

Be confident

It all starts with y-o-u. Don’t be shy when talking about your strengths. Be proud and be clear as to why you’re the perfect fit for this company. Being well-spoken is one of those soft skills that employers always love to see.
