National Staffing Employee Week, Sept. 14-20
ABR Employment Services, based in Madison, Wisconsin, is joining staffing agencies across the nation in celebrating National Staffing Employee Week, Sept. 14-20. Established by the American Staffing Association (ASA), this commemorative week honors the millions of temporary and contract employees working through U.S. staffing agencies each year.
Staffing companies employed 9.5 million temporary and contract employees nationwide in 2025. In Wisconsin, 51,300 temporary help workers worked each week, while Minnesota averaged 56,300 temporary help workers each week, according to the latest available ASA state data. These positions span a variety of industries and professions, with the majority of staffing jobs being full-time. Temporary and contract positions can also provide a path to permanent employment.
National Staffing Employee Week recognizes the temporary and contract employees who contribute to businesses, communities and the economy across Wisconsin, Minnesota and the nation.
