4 Tips To Connect With Recruiters
Connecting with recruiters can be a great way to advance your job search. Set yourself up for success with these four recruiter connection tips.
- Research the recruiter. ABR Employment Services specializes in the placement of industrial, office support and professional positions. Our food and beverage executive search division, Kinsa Group, specializes in food & beverage positions. If you’re a .NET developer or nuclear engineer, we’re probably not going to be a great resource.
- When you reach out, attach an updated resume. Even if you are just looking for a casual introductory conversation, recruiters want to know who they are talking to and have some ideas in mind for the discussion.
- If you are reaching out about a specific job, be very clear about what job. At least share the location and title. Better yet, every job ABR Employment Services and Kinsa Group works on has a Job Number. It’s a good idea to include that to ensure there’s no confusion.
- Many recruiters love it when candidates send an invitation to connect on LinkedIn. Look for recruiters that share the jobs they are recruiting for on LinkedIn. That’s a great way to establish a mutually beneficial, ongoing relationship.
If you are on the hunt for a new manufacturing, office or professional position, connect with us on LinkedIn.
If you have 5+ years of food & beverage experience, feel free to reach out to Kinsa’s executive recruiters to introduce yourself.
